Corn Chowder / Crema de Maíz Dulce at Espacio Mamá

This is a great recipe because it is so simple to make and children love it!
¡Esta es una super receta porque es super sencillo y les encanta a los niños!
Ingredients:
1 Onion, chopped / Cebolla, picada
1 Large potato, cubed /Papa grande, en cubos
A finger of Butter and/or 1 Tablespoon olive oil / Un dedo de Mantequilla y / o 1 Cuchara de aceite de oliva
1 Teaspoon Smoked paprika (or any ground paprika, cumin, coriander) / 1 Cucharadita de pimentón ahumado (o cualquier pimentón, comino, cilantro molido)
300ml Vegetable Stock (low salt best) / 300ml Caldo de verduras (mejor bajo en sal)
400ml Milk / 400ml Leche
3 Sweetcorn cobs, frozen (3 small cups) or in a tin (370g) / 3 Maíz dulce fresco en mazorca, 3 tazas chicas congelado, o lata de 300g
Method / Método:
1- Chop the onions and potatoes / Pica la cebolla y papas
2-If you are using fresh sweetcorn cut the corn of the cob / Si estas usando maíz dulce fresco corta el maíz de la mazorca
3- Heat oil and butter then add onions / Calienta el aceite y mantequilla y agrega cebollas
4- Once the onion is cooked (about 6 minutes) add the potatoes and the paprika (or other spice you are using), stir / Cuando la cebolla esta cocida (aprox 6 minutos) agrega la papa y pimentón ahumado (o otra especie que vas a usar) y mezcla todo
5- Add the stock to the pot, bring to the boil then lower the heat so the potato cooks / Agrega el caldo de verdura a la olla, sube el fuego hasta hervir y baja el fuego para seguir cocinando la papa
6- Once the potato is almost cooked add almost all of the sweetcorn and the milk and bring to the boil / Cuando la papa esta casi cocinada agrega casi toda el maíz dulce y la leche
7- Once it has boiled blend the mixture / Cuando ha hervido licuar todo
Add the remaining sweetcorn at the end and heat to add texture / Agrega el maíz dulce que apartaste y calienta, esto agrega textura
You can garnish with chopped spring onions / Se puede agregar una guarnición de cebollín picado
