A few years ago some of our PACT parents did a course called Mindful Parenting. It was all about techniques to cope and remain calm in the face of day to day stresses when looking after our children.

Roleplay is fun and easy to do at home, all you need is a little imagination and you can travel the world or become whoever you want to be. This week PACT parents and volunteers share some of the make-believe activities we have been doing with our kids at home.

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week and one of our dads Laurie Castelli from our Dadspace group is helping us to learn a brilliant simple breathing technique to de-stress and reduce anxious feelings called 7/11

This week the kids from PACT’s writing group share their experiences during the lockdown. Whether it's our food, exercise or how we treat others; our children learn by example so it's great for them to see us sharing our feelings, writing and creating. We find that sharing our stories can help to offload some of the worries that weigh us down and maybe we can reach others who are experiencing similar struggles.
